Suspected Fulani bandits invaded the Duru‑Kamang community in Foron District, Barkin Ladi LGA of Plateau State, in the early hours of Saturday, May 23, 2026, killing a 47‑year‑old farmer, Samuel Tsok. The assailants also rustled 50 of his cows.
According to the Berom Youth‑Moulders Association (BYM), Tsok was shot dead when he stepped out to investigate strange footsteps behind his house; the attackers apparently used that tactic to lure him out while stealing his livestock. Police have confirmed the incident and launched an investigation.
