Ayo Labinjoh, the woman who gave birth to Anu Adeleke the young girl who has repeatedly asked Davido for a DNA test has spoken out publicly, sharing her side of the long-running controversy and addressing the impact it has had on her daughter’s mental health.

In a lengthy statement posted online, Labinjoh began by clearly distancing herself from claims surrounding Davido, saying: “First things first, my name is Ayo Labinjoh. I’m NOT Davido’s baby mama or a b!tch.” She explained that her decision to speak up was driven by the emotional toll the situation has taken on her daughter.

According to her, Anu suffered years of intense bvllying, which led to severe emotional distress. “My daughter cried for days, fainted in school and went through psychotherapy,” she revealed, adding that she has remained fiercely protective of her child’s mental wellbeing.

Labinjoh said the issue had resurfaced globally despite her family trying to move on. She accused Davido of ignoring her for years, alleging he made damaging assumptions about her background. “David Adeleke has largely ignored me for years because he thought he picked up a prostitute from GQ Club in Ibadan. I was a waitress and not picked up on the streets,” she wrote.

Defending her upbringing, she added: “I came from a good home. My late father was a good man who worked for the betterment of Nigeria before he was p0isoned.”

Her statement has since reignited debate online, with many calling for clarity through an independent DNA test, while others expressed concern for Anu’s wellbeing amid the renewed public attention.

Anu, the young girl claiming to be the daughter of Nigerian music superstar Davido has shared a private chat between herself and the singer, which took place on Thursday, January 15.

In the conversation, Davido firmly maintained that he is not her father.

He told her that a total of five DNA tests had been conducted to verify the claim: one test conducted ten years ago, two carried out in hospitals of his choice, and two performed in hospitals selected by the girl’s mother.

According to Davido, all five tests returned negative results.

Despite this, the girl appealed to Davido to consider one final DNA test, hoping it would put an end to the ongoing uncertainty surrounding her paternity.

“They died within 24 hours” – Grieving father seeks justice over twins’ deaths in Lagos

Published

on

Samuel Alozie, a Lagos resident, has demanded justice following the death of his nine-month-old identical twin sons, Testimony and Timothy, about 24 hours after they received immunisation at the Ajangbadi primary health centre in Ojo local government area of Lagos state.....TAP TO CONTINUE READING

The incident gained public attention on Wednesday after Alozie, also known as Promise Samuel on TikTok, shared a video showing the remains of the twins in separate body bags.

“This is the result of the immunisation… they killed my twin boys with injections,” he wrote in the post.

In a follow-up video on Thursday, Alozie said he took the twins for routine immunisation on the morning of December 24, 2025.

He said the children became extremely weak immediately after the injections and were unable to eat, play or behave normally.

“It happened that the immunisation was conducted on the 24th of December, in the morning, and on the morning of 25th December, they died.

“After the injection, they were very weak, and I gave them paracetamol because the nurse said that if the temperature continued, I should give them paracetamol,” he added.

Alozie said he and his wife followed the nurse’s advice, administered paracetamol and bathed the children in an attempt to calm their rising temperature.

His words: “They died on the 25th; the two of them died at the same time. The drug weakened them to the extent they couldn’t eat, they couldn’t play as usual.”

The father alleged that the health centre staff may have administered expired, fake or excessive vaccines.

“The government has killed my children; my nine-month-old twins were killed with fake injection and fake vaccine.

“Before you go for immunisation, try to know what they are giving to your child, because maybe this is an overdose or fake drugs. My children were strong; whenever they had minor issues, paracetamol would calm everything down,” he said.

Alozie said the nurse on duty during the last immunisation visit was not the usual health worker who attended to the children.

“You gave them worm medicine, and you didn’t ask me or tell me. Did I tell you my children had worms or that I wanted deworming medicine for nine-month-old babies?” Alozie asked.

He also rejected preliminary explanations allegedly given by the health centre attributing the deaths to food contamination.

“She said it is food bacteria that killed my children; how can food they’ve been eating from one month to nine months suddenly kill them?” he said.

As of the time of reporting, the Lagos State Ministry of Health and the Lagos State Primary Health Care Board had not released an official statement on the incident or the autopsy findings.

Alozie said he fears the investigation outcome may be manipulated to shield the government facility.

The grieving father appealed for legal and public support, saying he lacks the financial means to pursue the case alone.

“Please, if you’re a lawyer or a human rights lawyer, help me. I need justice for these children; although I have buried them, I know their spirits are not at peace,” Alozie added.
