Priscilla Ojo Says People Thought Husband Juma Jux Was Impotent Before Their Child

Nigerian influencer Priscilla Ojo has revealed that her husband, Tanzanian singer Juma Jux, was presumed impotent in his country because he did not have a child by age 35 despite his fame and wealth. Speaking in an interview with Chude Jidenowo, she said suspicions grew because his friends and fellow musicians all had children while he did not.
Even after the couple welcomed their first child, Prince Rakeem Ayomide Mkambala, in Canada in August 2025, many still speculated the child was born through surrogacy or implantation. The couple held their civil wedding in Tanzania in February 2025.
Key Points:
Public pressure to have children affects men as much as women, especially among wealthy celebrities.
The couple’s openness about their fertility journey may encourage others facing similar speculation.
Cross-cultural marriages face added scrutiny from both Nigerian and Tanzanian communities.
Priscilla’s candid interview challenges harmful assumptions about masculinity and fatherhood
