League leaders, Arsenal are billed for a clash with the Blues on Sunday following a decent Champions League performances by both teams against Bayern Munich and Barcelona, respectively.

Chelsea defeated Barcelona 3-0 at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night while Arsenal beat Bayern Munich 3-1 at the Emirates Stadium the following night.

Spanish left-back, Marc Cucurella was vital to Chelsea’s 3-0 victory over ten-man Catalans.

His teammate, Caicedo has described him as a ‘beast’ after the Spaniard nullified the threat of Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal.

After the game, Manchester United legend, Wayne Rooney, had described Cucurella’s showing as the finest he had seen from a left-back ‘for a long, long time’.

And as they return to England for Premier League action against Arsenal, Cucurella will be facing a similar task of holding off threats from Bukayo Saka as they welcome the league leaders.

“Obviously Marc is a beast,” Fernandez said of Cucurella as quoted by Metro.

“Having a team-mate like him around day-to-day is very special, he’s very funny and always in a good mood.

“Aside from that, he trains very well, always wants to improve and for us.

“It’s very important to have a defender of his quality.”

Arsenal would open a nine point gap in the league table with a win at Stamford Bridge, while Chelsea could be closing the gap to just points three with a home win.
