Real Madrid is reportedly putting £132m forward to target Arsenal’s ‘next Galactico’, with a bizarre swap deal being considered.

In a bold move, Real Madrid has placed £132m on the table as they pursue Arsenal’s ‘next Galactico’, with an unusual swap proposed.

Real Madrid has placed a £132m offer on the table as they target Arsenal’s Declan Rice, who is being considered as their next ‘Galactico’ in a potential swap deal.

According to reports, Real Madrid is keen on signing Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice, aiming to make the England international their next ‘Galactico’.

Mikel Arteta’s squad has been performing exceptionally well this season, currently leading the Premier League after 13 matches.

Despite a 1-1 draw against Chelsea over the weekend, Arsenal remains five points ahead at the top of the Premier League and is also leading the Champions League with a flawless record of five wins from five matches.

A significant contributor to their success this season has been Rice, who has scored two goals and provided five assists in 20 appearances across all competitions.

When asked about Rice’s chances of winning the Ballon d’Or before the match against Chelsea, Arteta responded: “I hope so. That would indicate we have achieved a lot.

“Typically, it is closely tied to (trophies). Once again, I believe he was outstanding the other day. He has been exceptional since the season began. He is an invaluable and key player for us.”

His impressive performances have caught the attention of clubs beyond the Premier League, with the Spanish site Fichajes claiming that Arsenal has already received an offer of approximately 150 million euros from Real Madrid.

It is reported that the Spanish club is eager to acquire the Arsenal midfielder as their next ‘Galactico’ to enhance their midfield with a top-tier defensive and creative talent.

Fichajes, known for their inconsistent transfer news accuracy, suggests that Real Madrid may consider player exchanges to facilitate Rice’s transfer, with Trent Alexander-Arnold and Jude Bellingham mentioned as possible candidates.

The report concludes: “His profile aligns perfectly with Real Madrid’s philosophy, and he could significantly impact high-stakes matches in both La Liga and the Champions League.

Real Madrid is advancing with resolve, fully aware of the challenges ahead, yet prepared to invest both economically and strategically to secure the signing of Declan Rice as their next Galactico.

Arsenal icon Martin Keown recently praised Rice for his “most complete performance” during the Gunners’ 3-1 victory over Bayern Munich in the Champions League on November 26.

While speaking on TNT Sports, Keown commended Rice’s performance, stating: “He was racing around that pitch. It felt like they handed him the keys to the city.

“It was the most complete performance I’ve witnessed from this young man.”
