Report: Barcelona eyeing €70m move for Chelsea star, but the Blues “love him”

Barcelona are interested in signing the Chelsea attacker Pedro Neto.
The Portuguese international has been outstanding for Chelsea since joining the club, and Gary O’Neil has recently revealed that Chelsea love him and his contribution to the club.
He said: “I know Chelsea, I’ve spoken to them a bit about how Pedro’s been doing, and they love him there. They love his work and what he does for the team.”
Barcelona believe that an offer offer around €70 million might be enough to secure a move for him, as per Fichajes. It will be interesting to see if they follow up on their interest with an official proposal to get the deal done.
Neto has proven himself in England with Chelsea and Wolves. There is no doubt that he has the technical attributes for La Liga. He could be a very useful player for Barcelona. They need more quality and depth in the final third, and the 24-year-old is capable of operating in multiple roles.
He will help create opportunities for his teammates and add unpredictability in the final third. The player is entering the peak years of his career, and this could be the right time for the Spanish champions to sign him.
It will be interesting to see if they can convince Chelsea to sell the player. The Portuguese international could fancy a potential move to Barcelona. It would be a huge opportunity for him. They are one of the biggest clubs in the world, and the chance to play for them will be hard to turn down.
Chelsea are looking to build a formal team for the future, and they will not want to sell a key player. They need more quality and depth on the flanks, and losing the Portuguese International would be a blow for them. It seems highly unlikely that the Blues will sanction his departure.

Ejuke attracts Premier League interest

Chidera Ejuke could be on the move this summer, with several mid-table Premier League sides keeping tabs on the Sevilla winger.
According to Spanish news outlet, Fichajes, the interested clubs have been following Ejuke’s progress for several months.
The clubs believe his explosiveness, dribbling skills, and one-on-one ability make him well-suited to the Premier League.
Sevilla could be open to selling Ejuke if a suitable offer comes in, as the club looks to restructure and improve its financial balance.
The 28-year-old joined Sevilla on a free transfer in 2024 following the expiration of his contract with Russian club, CSKA Moscow.
The winger has however struggled to make much impact since his arrival at the club.
Ejuke has registered one goal, and one assist in 24 league appearances this season.

UCL: We didn’t have killer instinct in attack – Neuer knocks Bayern Munich stars

Bayern Munich goalkeeper, Manuel Neuer, has criticized Vincent Kompany’s men following their elimination from the Champions League on Wednesday.
Neuer said the Bavarians didn’t have that killer instinct against the French Ligue 1 champions during the encounter at the Allianz Arena.
Ousmane Dembele and Harry Kane’s goals ensured both teams drew 1-1 in the Champions League semi-final second leg, but Luis Enrique’s men progressed to the final on a 6-5 aggregate win.
“We didn’t have that killer instinct in attack tonight,” Neuer said at his post-match interview after the game.
“We may not have had that many clear-cut chances, but we certainly had the opportunity to win the match. We were close to the final but couldn’t get over the line.
“If we’d had a key moment and scored the goal, it’s a different story. Unfortunately, our goal came a bit too late.”

UCL: They can kill you – Thierry Henry warns Arsenal about Paris Saint-Germain

Arsenal legend, Thierry Henry, has warned his old club about Paris Saint-Germain ahead of the Champions League final later this month.
Speaking on CBS Sports, after PSG eliminated Bayern Munich from the Champions League semi-final stage on Wednesday night, Henry insisted that Luis Enrique’s men can ‘kill’ opponents in both ways by scoring more goals.
“You want your team [Arsenal] to win and experience that. Hopefully it’s going to happen, but look at how PSG played tonight, they can kill you in both ways, by scoring more goals than you and by neutralising you,” Henry said.
“The best team on the night and in the tie won, and they went about it in a different way against Bayern.
“They have everything they need, but Arsenal have been resilient, and when we do creates we score goals. It will be difficult, but let’s see.”
