The group Spokesperson, Alhaji Abubakar Yusuf, made the call on behalf of the group at the end of a meeting on Sunday in Birnin Kebbi.
Yusuf said freedom of information and political differences should not be aground for treasonous statements which is capable of disgusting the nation peaceful coexistence.

He explained that some notable politicians mostly from Zamfara and other parts of Northern Nigeria who benefits with political positions now engaged on the miserable call just because of the political difference and hatred.
According to him, those agitators were focusing on Minister of Defense, Mr Bello Matawalle, undermining his achievements and success in his capability as the Minister.

‘’ A highly placed politician from Zamfara state bedevilled with security challenges ought to proper solutions to the lingering situation not to fuel it.
‘’ We are aware that when Matawalle was state governor removed a relative to the agitator because the dethroned Emir turbaned a Bandit Kingpin Ado Alero on a traditional stool,’’ he said.

Yusuf added that former APGA National Secretary, Abdullahi Shinkafi, had publicly criticised Matawalle and accused him on wrongdoing without prove or legal grounds.

The group considered their utterances as imminical to the nation’s progress as Matawalle was legitimately occupied a government position with Presidential approval working for Nigerians.

‘’ We call on DSS and NIS to arrest Sen. Kabir Marafa and Alhaji Abdullahi Shinkafi and seizes their passports on the ground on undermining nation peace.
‘’ Our group commended President Bola Tunubu on bestoring Matawalle with responsibilities and success in the fight against security challenges,’’ he said.
The group further identified Matawalle’s success to rescueing Maga school girls in Kebbi state as other school girls rescued in Chibok, Dapchi and Yauri incidents.

Yusuf further commended President Tinubu, Nigerian military on the successes on the countering insurgency and other crimes along with other security operatives across the nation.
The group called on northerners to united themselves and face their challenges using all the availabile opportunities on socioeconomic growth and peaceful coexistence.
