Naija News reports that she shared a video on Instagram saying she never planned to discuss her private life in public but felt pushed to respond because of the way the situation was presented online.
According to her, she was shocked by the comments he made that they had been apart for over a year.
Emmanuella stated that while they may not be officially together, they were still close recently and had been intimate just days before Carter Efe made the post.
She explained that this made his public statement confusing and hurtful, especially since they share a child.
She also accused the streamer of controlling parts of her life.
Emmanuella said she studied medical anatomy but was discouraged from working in a hospital because he accused her of planning to have affairs with doctors.
She added that her dream of becoming an actress was also shut down because he did not support it.
The mother of one further claimed that Carter Efe often reminded her that he gave her visibility online and threatened to take it away.
She said he called her shortly before making his post to warn that he would share damaging content about her and ruin her image.
After the post went live, Emmanuella said she felt emotionally drained and confused about why such claims were made against her publicly.
She said that while it was fair for him to say they were no longer together, it was wrong to attack her character online.
She added that she has to approach him directly before he provides money for their child, despite his claim that they have been separated for a long time.
Emmanuella said this experience pushed her to finally speak her truth and clear her name.

The actress made the announcement on her verified Instagram page, revealing that her daughter “insisted her puppy must be at the signing,” adding a light-hearted touch to the milestone moment.
“Guess who just signed something special?” she wrote, expressing excitement over the partnership.
Mercy Johnson stated that she and her teenage daughter are officially brand ambassadors for Girlstag.ng, describing the collaboration as deeply personal and meaningful.
According to her, as a mother of teenage girls, she understood the importance of providing products that make menstruation “easier, more comfortable, and a lot less stressful.”
She described Girlstag.ng as an all-inclusive hygiene pad kit designed to provide everything needed during a menstrual cycle, noting that the product is thoughtful, practical and made with care.
The actress added that the endorsement goes beyond a commercial agreement, stressing that it is about building confidence, encouraging preparedness and empowering young girls to feel secure every month.
