Identity of wife who falsely accused husband of defiling two daughters
A photo has emerged, showing the identity of Chisom Okonkwo (29), the wife dragged to court for defaming her husband after she accused him of defiling their two daughters in Enugu last month.....TAP TO CONTINUE READING
However, after a medical test was carried out on the minors, her claim was found to be false and motivated by a quarrel she had with her husband, Ozioma Okonkwo.
The woman was immediately charged in the Magistrate Court in Enugu with criminal defamation and deceiving the state.
The charge sheet reads: “That you Chisom Okonkwo ‘f’ sometime in the month of August, 2024 along Adoration Junction, opposite Dan-Legal Hotel, Emene Enugu within the jurisdiction of this honourable court did defame the character of one Okonkwo Ozioma ‘m’ by shouting in the public that he defile your two daughters, which has expose him to hatred, contempt, ridicule and has damaged his reputation and thereby committed an offence contrary to Section 323 and punishable under Section 325 of the Criminal Code, Cap 30, Vol. II, Revised Laws of Enugu State of Nigeria, 2004.
“COUNT II: That you Chisom Okonkwo ‘f’ on the 27th day of October, 2025 at State Intelligent Department (SID), Enugu within the jurisdiction of this honourable court did give false information to the Police Detectives that one Okonkwo Ozioma ‘m’ defile your two daughters, which made the Police officers to arrest and detained him, the information you knew to be false and an action he wouldn’t have taken if the true facts were made known to them and thereby committed an offence punishable under Section 154(1)(a)&(b) of the Criminal Code, Cap 30, Vol. II, Revised Law of Enugu State of Nigeria 2004.”
According to X user, @Nimisioluwa, who shared her photo, “This is the face of Chisom Okonkwo, who falsely accused her husband of defiling their two daughters(2yrs and 5yrs old). She did this to ‘teach him a significant life lesson.’ Allegedly, the developing news is that she’s sleeping with her Landlord’s son and decided to lie against the husband over a little misunderstanding just to be free to continue her disgraceful act with her lover. A cheating woman is indeed a venomous woman.”
@Roseangel009 said, “Chisom, womanhood is ashamed of you. How can you accuse your husband of such a heinous crime? You even involved your two daughters in it. Thank God he was proven innocent. You will face the music now. Say no to defamation.”
@Iameziokwu said, “I have followed this story with the most utmost concern and i tell you that my heart breaks everytime i watch that video of him at a police station defending his wife. Swearing on his life that she could never say such a thing… Looking back at it now with this verdict, i don’t know how exactly i should feel. You have really hurt this man’s soul and no amount of apology can ever atone for it.”

The actress made the announcement on her verified Instagram page, revealing that her daughter “insisted her puppy must be at the signing,” adding a light-hearted touch to the milestone moment.
“Guess who just signed something special?” she wrote, expressing excitement over the partnership.
Mercy Johnson stated that she and her teenage daughter are officially brand ambassadors for Girlstag.ng, describing the collaboration as deeply personal and meaningful.
According to her, as a mother of teenage girls, she understood the importance of providing products that make menstruation “easier, more comfortable, and a lot less stressful.”
She described Girlstag.ng as an all-inclusive hygiene pad kit designed to provide everything needed during a menstrual cycle, noting that the product is thoughtful, practical and made with care.
