Naija News reports that the message was delivered on December 12, 2025, during his performance at an event where he mounted the stage to entertain fans.
While speaking to the audience, the singer made it clear that conversations about his marriage to Edo lawmaker Natasha Osawaru had gone on for too long.
He said that there were more serious national issues that deserved public concern than discussions about his personal affairs.
2Baba explained that he had spent years entertaining Nigerians through his music and felt it was time for people to redirect their energy.
He said that focusing on gossip and personal drama does not help the country move forward.
He said: “Make una ignore all that nonsense. Some serious things are happening in Nigeria. I’ve entertained you all enough. Let’s focus on more important things.”
In a related development, 2baba and his wife, Natasha Idibia, are reportedly facing a legal battle with their landlord over unpaid rent on their residence.
Naija News reports that the property is a 5-bedroom semi-detached duplex with a room boy’s quarters (BQ) located at No. 27 Edwin Clerk Crescent, Guzape, Abuja FCT.
The development follows earlier claims by Natasha that the house was a gift from her grandfather to her and her husband.
That claim had led many to believe the couple owned the property.
Fresh information now making the rounds shows that the Idibias do not own the house but are renting an apartment.
Documents purportedly from the court indicate that the property belongs to a landlord who is dissatisfied with the situation.

The actress made the announcement on her verified Instagram page, revealing that her daughter “insisted her puppy must be at the signing,” adding a light-hearted touch to the milestone moment.
“Guess who just signed something special?” she wrote, expressing excitement over the partnership.
Mercy Johnson stated that she and her teenage daughter are officially brand ambassadors for Girlstag.ng, describing the collaboration as deeply personal and meaningful.
According to her, as a mother of teenage girls, she understood the importance of providing products that make menstruation “easier, more comfortable, and a lot less stressful.”
