Dr. Charles Oludare has announced his resignation from the All Progressives Congress (APC), citing concerns over alleged irregularities in the party’s primary election in Ondo State and what he described as a growing threat to Nigeria’s democratic system.
Speaking during an interview on Nevon HQ, on Thursday, 2 July, 2026, Oludare said his decision to leave the ruling party was driven by what he believes is a decline in internal democracy and increasing intolerance toward political opposition.
