A Nigerian returnee from South Africa, Babatunde Oladeji, has spoken about the difficulties many foreign nationals face in the country following the latest evacuation exercise carried out by Air Peace.
According to a report by Vanguard published on Saturday, July 4, 2026, the airline successfully completed its third humanitarian evacuation flight, bringing 268 more Nigerians back home from South Africa.
The evacuees arrived on Friday at the cargo terminal of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Ikeja, Lagos, as part of an ongoing repatriation programme designed to assist Nigerians who voluntarily chose to return due to the challenges they encountered abroad.
