The First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, on Monday harvested vegetables from her garden at the State House, Abuja, as she urged Nigerians to embrace home gardening to improve household food security.
Tinubu said cultivating vegetables and other crops around homes could help families supplement their food needs, promote healthy eating and reduce the cost of feeding.
She encouraged Nigerians to make productive use of available spaces within their homes by growing crops for immediate family consumption.
