The father of Adeniyi Adeyemi, the self-styled Director-General of the purported Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC), has said police operatives raided his home three times in two days, destroyed parts of his property, confiscated phones, and arrested him while searching for his son, according to Vanguard.
Pa Adetunji Adeniyi said operatives jumped his fence, destroyed security wire, and searched his entire house in Ogbomoso, Osun State. He told BBC Yoruba: “I don’t know what my son did. They only said the government was looking for him.”
Meanwhile, SDP National Chairman Prof. Sadiq Gombe has called for Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila to resign, while FCT Minister Nyesom Wike challenged Adeyemi to substantiate his allegations. The ADC has called for an independent panel of inquiry, saying the government “cannot be a judge in its own case.”
