The Federal Government has opened applications for the C.L.I.C.K.D. consumer credit scheme, enabling Nigerians to acquire laptops, smartphones and tablets through structured, spread-out payments rather than paying the full cost upfront.
The programme, implemented by CREDICORP in partnership with the Ministry of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy, prioritises locally assembled laptops.
The current 1,000-laptop pilot is limited to fellows of the 3MTT programme, with plans to expand to other digital talent programmes including Andela, ALX, AltSchool Africa and others. Applicants apply online at credicorp.ng/clickd.
