BREAKING NEWS: Chelsea Player Suspended From Squad After Failing to Respect Club Values

Published

on

A Chelsea player has officially been suspended from the squad after failing to respect club values, expectations, and rules.

That is at least the official line that has come out of the club on this Wednesday morning ahead of their next match.

Thankfully, at least for Chelsea fans, said player is not yet a Chelsea player even though his signing has already been announced by all parties.

Striker Emmanuel Emegha will join Chelsea soon with his deal all done, so he is a Chelsea player. But right now, he is still playing for Strasbourg, which of course is Chelsea’s sister club.

But it sounds like there are some issues going on over there at the moment, some things that Chelsea are not going to like at all.

Emmanuel Emegha joins Chelsea!

In official statement by Strasbourg on their website, they state:

‘Racing Club de Strasbourg Alsace has decided to suspend Emmanuel Emegha for his next Ligue 1 match, this Saturday, December 6, in Toulouse.

‘This decision was taken following the player’s recent failure to respect the values, expectations and rules of the club.

‘Racing reaffirms its attachment to the essential principles of exemplarity and respect for the collective framework.

‘Emmanuel remains an important member of our team, who has always given everything for the club on the pitch. He will be reintegrated into the squad after this match.

‘No further comment will be made.’
Not good

Chelsea’s owners will not like this; they have done a lot to build a squad at Chelsea, and at Strasbourg actually, of players with good attitudes and who are respectful.

With Emegha joining Chelsea, this will seemingly not go down very well with the owners of the club.

Ejuke attracts Premier League interest

Published

on

Chidera Ejuke could be on the move this summer, with several mid-table Premier League sides keeping tabs on the Sevilla winger.

According to Spanish news outlet, Fichajes, the interested clubs have been following Ejuke’s progress for several months.

The clubs believe his explosiveness, dribbling skills, and one-on-one ability make him well-suited to the Premier League.

Sevilla could be open to selling Ejuke if a suitable offer comes in, as the club looks to restructure and improve its financial balance.

The 28-year-old joined Sevilla on a free transfer in 2024 following the expiration of his contract with Russian club, CSKA Moscow.

The winger has however struggled to make much impact since his arrival at the club.

Ejuke has registered one goal, and one assist in 24 league appearances this season.

UCL: We didn’t have killer instinct in attack – Neuer knocks Bayern Munich stars

Published

on

Bayern Munich goalkeeper, Manuel Neuer, has criticized Vincent Kompany’s men following their elimination from the Champions League on Wednesday.

Neuer said the Bavarians didn’t have that killer instinct against the French Ligue 1 champions during the encounter at the Allianz Arena.

Ousmane Dembele and Harry Kane’s goals ensured both teams drew 1-1 in the Champions League semi-final second leg, but Luis Enrique’s men progressed to the final on a 6-5 aggregate win.

“We didn’t have that killer instinct in attack tonight,” Neuer said at his post-match interview after the game.

“We may not have had that many clear-cut chances, but we certainly had the opportunity to win the match. We were close to the final but couldn’t get over the line.

“If we’d had a key moment and scored the goal, it’s a different story. Unfortunately, our goal came a bit too late.”

UCL: They can kill you – Thierry Henry warns Arsenal about Paris Saint-Germain

Published

on

Arsenal legend, Thierry Henry, has warned his old club about Paris Saint-Germain ahead of the Champions League final later this month.

Speaking on CBS Sports, after PSG eliminated Bayern Munich from the Champions League semi-final stage on Wednesday night, Henry insisted that Luis Enrique’s men can ‘kill’ opponents in both ways by scoring more goals.

“You want your team [Arsenal] to win and experience that. Hopefully it’s going to happen, but look at how PSG played tonight, they can kill you in both ways, by scoring more goals than you and by neutralising you,” Henry said.

“The best team on the night and in the tie won, and they went about it in a different way against Bayern.

“They have everything they need, but Arsenal have been resilient, and when we do creates we score goals. It will be difficult, but let’s see.”
