Published

on

The daughter of a Hamas founder has shared how she discovered faith in Jesus after years of living under the ideology of the militant group.

Juman Al Qawasmi described her childhood and early adult life as shaped by a strict upbringing in Qatar and Gaza, where her family taught her to hate Israel, Jews, Christians, and even Muslims who were not part of Hamas.

She was also married for 13 years to a Hamas member in Gaza...TAP TO CONTINUE FULL READING.

In an interview with CBN News, Al Qawasmi said: “I just want to say, sorry, that we used to curse all the Christian and the Jewish. We feel like we should kill them, because this is what Quran say… Yeah, it’s crazy.”

Her doubts about Islam and Hamas grew after witnessing the group’s violent control of Gaza.

“I never been satisfied with God. I never felt God would be happy with me. Islam does not give you peace… I start thinking, God, if you exist, I want to know you,” she said.

Al Qawasmi recounted a life-changing dream in 2014, where she saw “Jesus’ face coming out the moon, and he was speaking to me in Arabic”.

She revealed that he said: “You are my daughter, don’t be afraid.”

“I felt peace inside my heart… for the first time, I felt like someone loved me,” she added.

Now a follower of Christ, she encourages others from Muslim backgrounds to question what they are taught.

“Don’t be afraid to think, to use your brain… God gives us the Holy Spirit to ask him and to find a way,” she exclaimed.
