The affected communities are Zah, Mubang Yadul and Kijing.

Confirming the incident, the council chairman, Hon. Inuwa Usman Wa’aganda, said the terrorists struck late on Monday night, unleashing violence that threw the villages into chaos. Homes and shops were set ablaze, while food supplies were looted, forcing many residents to flee for safety.

He revealed that security operatives arrived after the attackers had escaped into surrounding bushes. As of now, eight corpses have been recovered across the three villages, while search efforts continue for four missing persons.

The chairman called on both the federal and Adamawa State governments to urgently intervene, assist displaced residents, and help restore livelihoods destroyed by the attack.
