Nollywood actress and entrepreneur Sarah Martins has accused a recently employed staff member of stealing ₦3 million from her bank account. She claimed that within his first seven days at work, ₦2 million was transferred from her account to an alleged accomplice. While she was still battling the shock, another ₦1 million reportedly vanished, bringing the total loss to ₦3 million. Martins alleged that debit alerts were deliberately deleted to cover the tracks.

She said Zenith Bank was contacted immediately, adding that the suspect tried to escape and later sent threats when investigations began. According to her, the bank traced the transactions, restrained the suspect, and he eventually confessed on camera. She later apologized to her account officer and praised Zenith Bank’s swift action.
