“I was bullied. Other students laughed at me” Teen Anu Adeleke asks Davido for DNA test to establish paternity

Published

on

Anu Adeleke, the young woman whose mother has insisted for years was fathered by singer Davido, has written publicly to ask for a DNA test.

Anu, who is now a teen, said she has been bullied for years and laughed at by her peers whenever she tells them Davido is her father.

Her mother has also insisted for years that Davido is the father of her child.

In an Instagram post shared today, Jan. 15, Anu tagged Davido and asked him to submit himself for a DNA test to establish paternity.

She wrote: “I am a bit late into the 15th day of the month but I’ve been busy getting back to school after the holidays with family and friends.

“This year I become a teenager. My mom and grandma has always educated me on being a responsible teen. No drugs, alcohol, bad company and bad behavior.

“Today I drafted a letter I wrote from the depth of my heart not with help from my relatives. As I grow older I want to establish my identity. I was bullied in school since I was 6-years-old and cried home daily. Other students laughed at me when I told them my father was Mr David Adeleke. I went through a lot of mental anguish and visited a medical professional to protect my mental health. It was a sad challenging time in my life.

“This page was not online for 5 years as my mom never updated this account since it was handed over to us. We went through a lot. Despite the challenges, I still excelled to the top of the class and became the class prefect. We posted some of my report cards on this page. Now that I’m in secondary school and still excelling in my studies, I don’t talk about my family history anymore.

“However on that note as I transition into a young woman, I am respectfully asking Mr David Adeleke Singer @davido for a DNA test to establish my identity. This test is between my dad and I. It is something I want. It is something that’s the right thing to do. Please sir, consider my request once you read this post. I also sent it to your DM.

“Thank you to all Nigerians who have given me emotional support for the last 7 years. This DNA test is the right thing to do for me.

“God Bless you Mr Adeleke.”

Sheikh Gumi Alleges US Intelligence Behind Boko Haram and Banditry in Nigeria

Published

on

Kaduna-based Islamic cleric Ahmad Gumi has alleged that American intelligence agencies are behind the activities of bandits and Boko Haram terrorists in Nigeria. Gumi made the claim in a Facebook post on Saturday while reacting to comments by Mike Arnold, who had spoken about the alleged persecution of Christians in Nigeria.

Gumi accused Arnold of promoting a false narrative about Christian killings while ignoring the insecurity affecting parts of northern Nigeria. He wrote that bandits and Boko Haram are “allegedly sponsored by the same American intelligence.” Gumi added: “One of the things Islam abhors is lies and liars.”

Key Points:

Gumi’s allegation could strain Nigeria-US counterterrorism cooperation if taken seriously.
The cleric’s claims may fuel anti-American sentiment among Nigerians already frustrated with insecurity.
Families of victims of banditry and Boko Haram attacks may feel their suffering is being used for political narratives.
The US government has not responded to Gumi’s allegations at the time of this report.
The timing of this claim, amid ongoing counterterrorism talks between Nigerian and US officials, is highly sensitive.
