Kidnappers Demand N1bn Ransom After Abducting 15 Worshippers in Ekiti Church Attack
Kidnappers who abducted 15 worshippers during a night vigil at Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) No. 2 in Eda-Oniyo, Ekiti State, are demanding N1 billion ransom for their release.
A guest pastor was reportedly killed during the attack. Among the abducted is a family of four, a mother and her three children. Security agencies, including the Army, Police, Amotekun Corps, and vigilantes, have been mobilised for a coordinated response.

Dr Olajide Adediran, popularly known as Jandor, has withdrawn from the 2027 Lagos governorship race under the All Progressives Congress (APC). His decision comes days after President Bola Tinubu endorsed Deputy Governor Obafemi Hamzat as the party’s consensus candidate. Jandor said: “Based on my earlier position that I will align with the direction of the President, I have decided to withdraw from the race.”
