Months after being sentenced in a federal case, rapper Sean Combs, popularly known as Diddy, is facing a new sexual assault lawsuit from a man who claims he was abused when he was a minor.

According to court documents obtained by the Daily Mail, the man, identified as John Doe, said he was a child actor when he attended a networking event in the Hollywood Hills in 2007.

Doe alleged that Combs invited him to a private conversation about possible career opportunities. He claimed that during the meeting, Combs began “rubbing on parts of his body” before allegedly performing oral sex on him while “pleasuring” himself.

The claimant said he told Combs he felt uncomfortable before the alleged act took place.

According to the lawsuit, Combs later told him he would “keep him in mind for possible opportunities” before leaving him alone in the room.

The man said he left the event shortly after the alleged encounter.

Responding to the lawsuit, Combs’ representative, Juda Engelmayer, denied the allegations.

“The allegations from this so-called nameless child actor are false and ridiculous. He’s just another hater in a long list of people trying to get in on the money gravy train encouraged by personal injury lawyers.

“Mr Combs has never sexually assaulted anyone – and that includes any child! These allegations will be disproved like all the rest.”

The new lawsuit comes as Combs is also facing a criminal investigation in California.

On June 1, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office confirmed to the Daily Mail that a new criminal probe involving Combs was under review.

According to district attorney’s office spokesperson Venusse D Dunn, the Los Angeles Police Department and the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department submitted findings from separate investigations involving allegations made by one individual.

The alleged victim is celebrity publicist Jonathan Hay, who filed a lawsuit against Combs in July last year.

In the lawsuit, Hay accused Combs of sexual battery.

Combs has denied all allegations against him.

In a statement to the Daily Mail on June 1, Hay described himself as a “survivor” and said:

“Having my painful experiences heard and validated by the LAPD and the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office is an undeniable turning point.

“This progress marks a significant victory in my fight for total accountability. I am certain that justice will be achieved and that full responsibility will be enforced.”

Hay said he filed a police report in 2025, alleging that Combs sexually assaulted him in 2020 and again in 2021. The report was first filed in Florida before being transferred to Los Angeles, where the alleged incidents reportedly occurred.

According to the lawsuit, Hay was working on a remix project involving music from late rapper Christopher Wallace, known as The Notorious BIG, and Wallace’s son, CJ Wallace.

Hay alleged that during a studio session in September 2020, Combs criticised the project before taking him to a warehouse in Los Angeles where Wallace’s memorabilia was stored.

The lawsuit claimed Combs later engaged in sexual misconduct involving one of Wallace’s shirts.

Hay further alleged that Combs sexually assaulted him during another encounter in March 2021. He said the incidents left him feeling suicidal.

CJ Wallace was also named in the lawsuit for allegedly helping Combs gain access to Hay. Wallace denied the claims and filed a defamation lawsuit against Hay, who has also denied those allegations.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office said investigators submitted their findings to prosecutors last year and that the case remains under review.

Combs was convicted in federal court in July 2025 on two counts of transportation for the purposes of prostitution.

However, he was found not guilty of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking charges.

Meanwhile, in October 2025, Tribune Online reports he was sentenced to four years in prison, with credit for time already served, followed by five years of supervised release, as he is expected to be released in February 2028.
