Dangote Refinery-backed Nigerian MRS filling stations have dropped its fuel pump price for the second time in two weeks, DAILY POST reports.
A market survey by DAILY POST on Wednesday morning showed that MRS filling stations across Abuja have dropped their fuel price to N1,191 per liter, down from N1,241 per liter.
This means that MRS filling stations have reduced their petrol price by N50 per litre.
With the latest fuel price reduction by MRS, motorists in Abuja and environs now buy petrol between N1,191 and N1,300 per liter.
DAILY POST reports that Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, AA Rano, Ranoil, Nigerian Downstream Oil and Gas Company, Empire Energy, and other filling stations are dispensing petrol at N1210 and N1300 per liter in Abuja.
The development comes nearly a week after the Dangote Refinery adjusted its ex-depot fuel price to N1,125 per liter.
