Pastor Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has shared a personal account of religious violence in northern Nigeria, recalling the killing of one of his pastors while urging Christians not to retaliate.
Speaking at an event in the United States, Adeboye addressed criticism that he had remained silent over attacks on Christians in northern Nigeria. He said such accusations ignored the sacrifices made by churches under his leadership and the pain they have endured over the years.
Highlighting one incident, Adeboye said, “One of my daughters, a pastor in the north, went for early morning evangelism, passed by a mosque, and some people came out and killed her.”.See the video & full news here. Thank you and God bless.
