A man who returned from the dead after his life support was turned off has explained what is waiting for us on “the other side”. Before Gene Long, 33, died, he questioned whether God was real.
He had been battling severe diabetes, addiction and homelessness. His lifestyle left him in a two-month-long coma, and doctors only gave him a one per cent chance of survival. With no hope in sight, his parents decided to turn off his life support, offered his organs for donation, and began making plans for their son’s funeral.
