The First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Remi Tinubu, has come under heavy criticism on X after advising Nigerians that starting small businesses such as akara, roasted corn and kuli-kuli does not require much capital.

Speaking while explaining the administration’s support for small businesses through grants, in a video on X, the First Lady said: “To start akara business doesn’t take a lot of money.
