The All Progressives Congress (APC) has inaugurated the national executives of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (PBAT) Door-to-Door Movement, with National Chairman Nentawe Yilwatda describing the 2027 general election as a defining moment for Nigeria’s future.
Speaking at the inauguration in Abuja, Yilwatda urged members to intensify grassroots mobilisation, saying: “Elections are not won on TV or on social media. They are won in marketplaces, in villages.” He said the 2027 elections represent “a choice between moving forward and moving backwards, between reform and retreat.”
Government Ekpemupolo (Tompolo), the initiator of the movement, said the group would immediately commence nationwide grassroots mobilisation in support of Tinubu’s re-election bid. High-profile attendees included Senate President Godswill Akpabio, Speaker Tajudeen Abbas, and several governors.
