BREAKING NEWS: “Fubara Crossed the Line!” — APC Chieftain Blasts Rivers Governor Over Wike Fallout
According to our reporter, Prince Oyelude Oladele, an APC chieftain and Director-General of the Tinubu-Shettima Ambassadors, has weighed in on the deepening political tension between Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara and his predecessor, Nyesom Wike.
Speaking on TVC News, Oladele argued that for Wike to have favored Fubara over Austin Opara, the governor ought to have shown greater loyalty and respect to his political benefactor. He stressed that political mentorship should never be repaid with actions perceived as betrayal.
Oladele warned that loyalty and reward systems remain the backbone of political stability, especially in Rivers State where Wike has played a defining role in shaping leadership outcomes. He also criticized Fubara’s alleged defection moves, saying proper consultation with key APC figures like Tony Okocha and Magnus Abbe was ignored.
According to him, failure to respect party structures and senior leaders could weaken unity and threaten electoral success in Rivers State.
