Former President Goodluck Jonathan Meets President Tinubu at State House

Former President Goodluck Jonathan met with President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday at the State House in Abuja. The agenda of the meeting has not been made public by the presidency.

Jonathan’s last meeting with Tinubu was in November 2025 after his return from Guinea-Bissau, where he had been leading an election observation mission before soldiers seized power. Jonathan was later evacuated from the country. General Horta Inta-A was sworn in as the transitional president of Guinea-Bissau.
