
[VIDEO] Lagos Police Boss Says Anyone Can Record Officers on Duty, Warns Against Phone Searches
Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Tijani Fatai, has stated that anyone is free to record a police officer carrying out their lawful duties. In an interview with News Central, Fatai said: “You can record us, and we can record you as well.
Anybody can record a support system at his duty post, since the police officer is doing the right thing.” He also reiterated a standing order warning police officers against searching Nigerians’ phones.
