268 Nigerians Evacuated From South Africa Arrive Today Amid Xenophobic Attacks

The first batch of 268 Nigerians evacuated from South Africa will arrive at Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, on Thursday morning, following recent xenophobic attacks. Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, will receive the returnees.

The Air Peace flight is expected to land at about 5:00 a.m. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has extended the voluntary repatriation screening until June 14 to accommodate more affected Nigerians.
