I Saw The Bandits Through The Door But They Couldn’t See Me, They Were Putting On Black Masks- Opeyemi

In an interview with News Central TV, Opeyemi Yusuf, one of the survivors and a member of Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA) in the Omugo community, Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State, which was attacked by bandits, has recounted that she saw the bandits through the door where she was hiding, but they couldn’t see her. She said they were putting on black clothes and black masks.

In her words, “So I saw them through the door, but they couldn’t see me. They were putting on black and black mask. They are just two people that their faces were covered, but all the small ones’ faces are not covered.”

Opeyemi said she and other members of the church took cover in the choir store during an encounter with bandits. From that position, she saw the bandits taking their phones and also the pastor’s phone.

She added that she saw their activity through a door without being detected. She described two of the bandits as wearing all-black cloth with face masks.
