According to a report by Daily Trust on Thursday, June 18, 2026, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has warned that motorists driving tinted vehicles in Abuja could face arrest and prosecution regardless of whether they possess official tint permits.
Commissioner of Police Ahmed Sanusi issued the warning as the command began enforcing vehicle tint regulations aimed at tackling crimes such as kidnapping, armed robbery, drug trafficking and other criminal activities in the nation’s capital..See the video & full news here.
