Veteran Yoruba actor and filmmaker Taiwo Adeshina, popularly known by his stage name Elegbeje Ado, has passed away following a brief illness.
The Nollywood veteran died on Monday, June 29, 2026, according to an official statement released by his family and associates.
Adeshina was highly regarded as one of the pillars and most respected figures in the Yoruba movie sector.
