According to a report by Vanguard News published on Monday, June 29, 2026, Yoruba Nation activist Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, has announced that members of his private security outfit, Iru Ekun, who were injured during an ambush by suspected bandits in the Old Oyo National Park have fully recovered..See the video & full news here.
Igboho also dismissed rumours suggesting that he was harmed or had gone missing during the operation. He reassured Nigerians, particularly his supporters at home and abroad, that he is safe.
