Former Anambra State governor Peter Obi has shared a story from his time in office to explain why leaders should always listen to the people, regardless of who they are.
In a video shared by Advocacy for Good Governance, speaking about leadership, Obi recalled a visit to Upper Iweka in Anambra, an area that was known for pickpocketing and other criminal activities while he was governor.
According to him, during the visit, a man described by many as mentally ill insisted on speaking with him. Although people around him tried to stop the conversation, saying the man was mad, Obi said he chose to listen.
