According to a video posted on Viable TV, on Thursday July 2, 2026, the Defense Headquarters spokesman disclosed that the Nigerian Air Force tracked terrorists moving on motorcycles to their hideouts in the Kandan area of Yadi forest in Giwa local government area of Kaduna state on June 19.
The spokesman said air power assets followed the terrorists to their forest hideouts and executed a precision strike, neutralizing them along with their stores.
He explained that this operation followed a period of sustained air cover in the Kaduna area, including patrols along the Kaduna- Abuja main supply route and around the Nigerian Defense Academy following a technical fault on the Abuja -Kaduna train.See the video & full news here.
