Popular Nigerian social media activist Martins Vincent Otse, widely known as Verydarkman (VDM), has voiced strong concerns over the escalating kidnapping crisis in Nigeria. His reaction comes after a disturbing video surfaced online showing a suspected kidnapper boldly flaunting a captive on social media.
In the viral clip, the victim’s face is covered with their hands tied securely behind their back, while the captor appears relaxed, filming the entire scene. The sheer audacity of the footage prompted VDM to release a video address, urging Nigerians to change how they respond to such horrifying content.
According to the Ratel President, the decision by criminals to document and share their illicit activities online is a calculated psychological tactic.
