The United States of America (USA), Mexico and Canada, joint hosts of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, have all been eliminated from the tournament following the USA’s 4-1 defeat to Belgium in the Round of 16 on Monday, July 6, 2026.
The defeat at Lumen Field in Seattle ended the last remaining campaign by a host nation and completed a disappointing outing for all three co-hosts, who had each reached the knockout stage but failed to progress to the quarter-finals.
