Former Lagos State Governor Babatunde Fashola has dismissed insinuations that he might contest for the presidency of Nigeria, saying he is already “president at home” and does not miss public office.​

Speaking on TVC’s Beyond The Headlines, the APC chieftain said he has seen and done it all, adding that he now enjoys a less pressured life with more sleep and better meals.

He noted that he remains a member of the Governance Advisory Council (GAC), attends meetings, and advises the government. He said there is a “thin line between intervention and interference.”
