Tinubu: Opposition Doesn’t Believe in the Democracy They Preach

President Bola Tinubu has criticised opposition politicians, accusing them of undermining democratic values while claiming to uphold them. Speaking at a meeting with political leaders from Enugu led by Governor Peter Mbah, Tinubu said: “Democracy will survive, despite all the intimidation. Ignore it… When you are succeeding, and they are angry, leave them in their corner.” He also criticised the past privatisation of the power sector, saying “they gave us darkness.”
