Transfer: Super Eagles striker Kelechi Iheanacho Set for Celtic Return after Impressive loan spell

Super Eagles striker Kelechi Iheanacho is set to return to Celtic on a permanent deal after an impressive loan spell, according to Linda Ikeji’s Blog. Celtic manager Martin O’Neill has confirmed plans to bring the Nigerian forward back to the club following his debut season.

Iheanacho signed a one-year deal with Celtic in September last year and played a key role in helping the club secure the Scottish Premiership title. He scored nine goals across all competitions, including five goals in 13 league games and a goal in the Scottish Cup final triumph.

O’Neill said: “I’d like to do something with him. I’m definitely pursuing that at this minute.” Celtic are also trying to re-sign Marcelo Saracchi.
