Veteran Nollywood actress Ngozi Nwosu has appealed to the public for N30 million to undergo three urgent surgeries after spending three weeks in hospital, saying “the thing has gone beyond my control” and begging fans not to let her die.​

Nwosu disclosed her condition in a video posted on Instagram on Thursday, describing the pain she is experiencing. She directed anyone willing to assist to contact her management. In the caption, she admitted that asking publicly was difficult but said she could no longer remain silent.

The actress rose to fame through roles in Living in Bondage, Fuji House of Commotion, Ripples, and other Nollywood classics.
