Ex-OGTV Broadcaster Killing: Suspect Says He Wanted to “Teach Her a Lesson”

A 22-year-old suspect, Sodeinde Olajuwon Philip, has confessed to orchestrating the killing of former Ogun State Television broadcaster Olakitan Oyesiku to “teach her a lesson” over grievances from the period he worked as her security guard. Philip, along with two accomplices, was arrested by the Ogun State Police Command.

The suspects overpowered the security guard, Pelumi Adetayo, gained access to the residence, and attacked Oyesiku before killing both victims. Her Lexus RX 330 SUV was stolen but later recovered through technical tracking.
