How They Were Eliminated
Senegal thrashed 10-man Iraq 5-0 to take third place in Group I, while New Zealand lost 5-1 to a resurgent Belgium side. Uruguay suffered a narrow 1-0 loss to Spain, while Saudi Arabia is out despite a 0-0 draw with Cape Verde.
The group stage is almost complete. The remaining teams now prepare for the knockout rounds, where the competition will intensify.
