According to a report by The Sun on Sunday, July 5, 2026, Primate Elijah Babatunde Ayodele, the Leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has stated that the continued detention of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, alongside the decision to grant pardons to repentant terrorists, represents a serious injustice and a significant hindrance to Nigeria’s development.
He made this position known while addressing issues of national governance and security concerns linked to such decisions.
The cleric’s remarks were delivered on Friday in Lagos during the public presentation of the 2026/2027 edition of “Warnings to the Nations,” an annual publication containing prophetic declarations directed at countries, leaders, institutions, and individuals across the world.
The event also featured various interpretations of national and global political trends as outlined in the new edition of his prophecy compendium.
